Danny Barnett leads the worldwide teams that look after the Information Technology systems that equip our sellers and marketers to win in the marketplace. His teams’ portfolio comprises some 300 applications that cover marketing, sales, sales analytics, business partner enablement and sales incentives.
Danny joined IBM through the Lotus acquisition in 1996. He has held technology roles in Lotus, IBM Software Group and was, most recently, Chief of Staff to IBM’s CIO. In both his former and current role, Danny is focused on building great software engineering teams using the best Agile practices.
Before joining Lotus, Danny lived in France where he ran analytics solutions (we called that “Data Warehousing” in those days) for Eurotunnel, the company responsible for building and operating the tunnel between the UK and France.
Danny knows a lot about technology. But he also knows a surprising amount about wedding dresses. That’s because his husband, Yemi, is a fashion designer. Danny and Yemi moved from London to New York City in 2016 and are now residents of Harlem.
