Join this pre-conference event and spend time with the Sugar University team whether you’re new or looking for more advanced level training. This year’s trainings will be dedicated to new and advanced Sugar Administration and Sugar Development.
There are four courses:

Getting Started with Sugar Administration

Offers fundamental configuration training for new Sugar Admins. Build competence and confidence working with Sugar through live, hands-on training. This class is designed for new system administrators responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of their organization’s Sugar application.


 

Advanced Sugar Administration

Attend this one-day course if you are an experienced Sugar Administrator looking to learn more advanced configuration topics in Sugar such as: modifying Global Search, configuring connectors, configuring PDF Manager, setting up email, and performing advanced field configuration (for example, calculated values). You will get hands-on experience on advanced Admin features and we’ll spend the afternoon focused on Sugar’s Advanced Workflow.

 

Getting Started with Sugar Development

For developers to learn best practices when customizing Sugar. This course will start with an overview and then dive deeper into Sugar architecture, sidecar framework and provides hands-on exercises along the way


 

Advanced Sugar Development

Explores Sugar developer customization and implementation topics and related skills most relevant to Sugar Implementations. The course builds upon your general knowledge of the Sugar development framework by introducing additional advanced techniques that can be applied to a range of common customization requests. It also explores general Sugar implementation concepts and techniques such as design patterns, troubleshooting, coding best practices, integration strategies and team development.

Certification

We are excited to extend an invitation to test your knowledge, skills and abilities to get Sugar certified or rectified at no additional cost to all registered SugarCon attendees. Earn your certification and leave San Francisco with validated confidence of your Sugar expertise. This is your free opportunity to take a certification exam and leave SugarCon as a Certified Sugar! Please note, our certification exams are difficult and require both training and practical experience to pass. For questions, please reach out to the SugarU team at university@sugarcrm.com. Sign-ups for the certification sessions will come in early August.

Certified Sugar Administration Specialist

This exam is targeted at Sugar Administrators who have fundamental knowledge and experience configuring Sugar 7. You will have the chance to take the 90-minute, 60 multiple choice question exam and leave SugarCon a Certified Sugar Administration Specialist.

 

Certified Sugar Developer Specialist

This exam is targeted at Sugar Developers who have fundamental knowledge and experience customizing Sugar 7. You will have the chance to take the 90-minute, 60 multiple choice question exam and leave SugarCon a Certified Sugar Developer Specialist.

 

Certified Sugar Solution Architect Professional

Our newest certification track aimed at solution designers and architects will be available at SugarCon. This certification has two pre-requisites, so be sure to have them completed before taking this exam. This exam is targeted at Solution Architects who have advanced knowledge and experience on Sugar solutions and the Sugar platform. You will have the chance to take the 90-minute, 60 multiple choice question exam and leave SugarCon a Certified Sugar Solution Architect Professional.
